In 1989-90 I attended a Composition course given by Franco Donatoni at the “Romano Romanini Foundation” in Brescia.
In 1996 I attended a Masterclass given by György Ligeti at the Conservatory of Novara.
In the same 1996 I have been finalist in Belveglio Composition Prize in Belveglio, Asti, Italy, with the piece IMPRONTE for flute, clarinet and harp.
The same piece has been selected by Ensemble Rosario (Rosario, Argentina) performed and included in the repertory of the Ensemble.
In 1999 my piece Electric Sheep for harp, commissioned by the Italian harp player Francesca Tirale for the International Harp Meeting of Perugia in 1999, has been recorded by the same Francesca Tirale in a CD produced by Radio Onda d’Urto in Milan.
In January 2000 I met in Amsterdam Louis Andriessen, determinative for my musical growth. In May of the same year I won  the 2nd prize in the International Contest of Composition “2 Agosto” in Bologna with the piece UMORE for sax soprano and orchestra, performed by Claude Delangle with the Orchestra Sinfonica A. Toscanini of Parma conducted by Marcello Rota.
A lot of my pieces have been commissioned by many musicians: Claude Delangle, the harp player Francesca Tirale, Arcana Ensemble, the percussion player Riccardo Balbinutti, Trio Contempo of Paris, Vox Aurae Orchestra, Rosario Ensemble, the percussion player Pedro Carneiro, The Brescia Symphonic Band “Isidoro Capitanio”, the percussion player Guido Facchin, the Musical Association “Franco Margola”, the SIMC (Italian Society of Contemporary Music), Dedalo Ensemble.
My works have been performed in several national and international Festivals in Italy and abroad, like Gioventù Musicale d’Italia, the Perugia International Harp Meeting, ppIANISSIMO International Festival, Sulle Ali del Novecento, Arcana Composers Meeting, Guggenheim Foundation of Venice, the Festival “Scintille di Musica”, the festival “Novecento: i sentieri ritrovati e i nuovi percorsi”, Bergamo Musica Festival.
In the meantime I have been studying orchestra conduction., following the Masterclasses of orchestra conducting given by Jorma Panula at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona. Nel 1993 I became principal conductor of Group of Contemporary Music Arcana Ensemble.
With Arcana Ensemble I gave a lot of performances, broadcast and made some recordings. In 1995 I recorded the piece Riti di Passaggio of the composer Antonio Giacometti for a CD produced by Rugginenti of Milan. In 1998 I recorded, of the same Antonio Giacometti, the piece “Crolli emotivi su percorso mentale” for the “Italian Composers CD Encyclopaedia”.
From 1999 to 2003 I have been the director, together with the Italian composer Mauro Montalbetti, of the international Composition Masterclass “Arcana Composers Meeting,” in which a lot of pieces written by composers from all over the world have been selected and performed.
During this meeting the following composers have been invited and have given their seminars: Claudio Ambrosini, Roberto Andreoni, Mauro Cardi, Giulio Castagnoli, Giancarlo Facchinetti, Marisol Gentile, Stefano Gervasoni, Antonio Giacometti, Mauro Montalbetti, Rossano Pinelli, Paolo Rimoldi, Luca Tessadrelli
Since 2001 I collaborate as a composer as a performer with the choreographer and dancer Giulia Gussago, with whom I realized the works “Crolli”, “Accordo N° 1 Sfogliando fogli”, “Improvvisazione N° 14”, “Fiabe”, “Formae Passionis”, “Improvvisazione N°16”, “Tempo”, “Improvvisazione N° 20”.
Since 2005 I am a member of the Società Italiana di Musica Contemporanea (SIMC), Italian section of ISCM (International Society for Contemporary Music). In the same year my piece TRIWATT has been selected by SIMC to take part to the ISCM International Festival “GRENZENLOS” in Stuttgart (Germany); again in 2005 I was selected by Sentieri Selvaggi Ensemble of Milan to attend a Composition Masterclass given by James MacMillan from 4th to 8th October at Piccolo Teatro in Milan.
Since 2006 I cooperate with the theatrical company La Fabbrica del Vento directed by Giacomo Gamba, who asked me to write the music for the theatrical performance “Oxus-Gennan” , programmed for the 3rd edition of the International Festival of Contemporary Theatre ESPLORA, which took place from 14th to 20th of September 2006. In the same year the SIMC commissioned me a melologue, OPODELDOK for voice, piano and percussion, which has been performed, from September to Novembre in teh same year, in different locations in Italy, like Triennale of Milan and Sala Piatti of Bergamo.
In February  2007 the Festival Nuovi Spazi Musicali of Rome commissioned me a piece for piano tht will be performed in October at Hungary Academy in Roma for the same Festival. In July 2007 my piece ANGELES Y DEMONIOS, written for Trio Contempo of Paris, has been published in a CD produced by the same Trio. In the same 2007 the melologue OPODELDOK  has been recorded in a CD, produced by SIMC, which will be published in 2012.
For the years 2010/2011 I have received commissions by SIMC, Diego and Fabio Gordi Piano Duo, Isidoro Capitanio Symphonic Band of Brescia, Duo Novecembalo from Parma, the poet Alessandro Bottelli, the composer and conductor Federico Cumar, the flutist Stefania Maratti, the poet Paolo Truzzi and the pianist Emanuela Baronio.
I regularly cooperate with the musical magazine “Brescia Musica”, for which I have written articles on Iannis Xenakis, Steve Reich, Fats Waller, György Ligeti, Elliott Carter, Olivier Messiaen, Louis Andriessen, Milan Kundera, Gideon Klein, Igor’ Stravinskij.
